DrawnBy: Washable Silicone Drawing and Colouring Mats are 30cm x 40cm and the DrawnBy: Washable Silicone Coaster. Mats are 10cm x 10cm.
Our Silicone Mats are made of food-grade, FDA approved silicon which is soft and thin yet durable and and easy to fold! You can easily keep your DrawnBy: Washable Silicone Drawing and Colouring Mats in a neat little drawstring bag (provided) for when your family is on-the-go!
Our recommendation for our colouring and drawing products is for ages 2 And up. But if your baby or child knows how to hold a pen, our products are definitely safe to use. Do be aware that the pen caps may be hazard if swallowed as they can cause children to choke so children should always be supervised when playing!
As for upper age limit, I myself have enjoyed colouring on the DrawnBy: Washable Silicone Drawing and Colouring Mats and a lot of adults tell me that colouring these designs are therapeutic for them too! There's really no restriction to what age can have fun with the DrawnBy: range of products!
DrawnBy: designs are printed by indelible ink and SHOULD NOT be washable when you apply friction on the DrawnBy: Washable Silicone Mats or clean them with soap and water.
We do however spot printing errors when the mats are shipped in from time to time and have tried our best to remove such errors so that customers receive our best stock! Our eyes are only human though, so one or 2 imperfections may slip through our Quality Control processes. This is why we offer exchanges within 10 days if you find any imperfections on your mats, as long as they are still in their original packaging.
The imperfect mats are not perfect, but they are still good and we will regularly offer these DrawnBy: Washable Silicone Mats for massive discount with proceeds to go to a local charity.
If you do find that the ink on your DrawnBy: Washable Silicone Mats are fading, do drop us a line and we will do the necessary investigations and feedback to prevent this from happening in any of our further prints.
Our DrawnBy: Washable Silicone Drawing and Colouring Mats are also made of Food-grade Silicone which means that they are heat resistant up to 220°C so you can put hot food and drinks on it and the DrawnBy: Washable Silicone Drawing and Colouring Mats are even dishwasher safe too!
Of course, we do not recommend that you let your children bite / eat the DrawnBy: Washable Silicone Drawing and Colouring Mats or DrawnBy: markers as (especially the pen caps) may be a hazard for them.
Do exercise caution and supervision when your child is using our products at all times as they can get up to the darndest things when your back is turned!
If your child should swallow any of our products in whole or in part, please consult your nearest physician.

Our very first batch of DrawnBy: Colouring Stickers is printed on matte-finished paper so you have much more options in terms of colouring! You may use anything from colour pencils, to crayons, to gel pens, to of course, our DrawnBy: Markers themselves to colour in the decals.
Do note that inky pens may smudge so you should allow the ink to dry a little before peeling the DrawnBy: Colouring Stickers off to to paste :)
DrawnBy: Markers and Water Colour Pencils are actually erasable off this first batch of Colour Pencils - it was a pleasant surprise because we didn't expect them to be reusable too!
Do note that this matte-coating will be REMOVED in further runs of DrawnBy: Stickers.
Items like the DrawnBy: Case and the DrawnBy: Zip Pouches are made of fabric to offer you something a little different from our reusable colouring mats!
DrawnBy: Markers are permanent on all fabric components so please use with caution if you intend to colour on your fabric items!
For our Zip Pouches and Shopping bags, they are made of nylon and are semi-waterproof. Do place a piece of paper underneath the fabric when colouring so that the ink does not seep to the other side of the product. These are machine washable but strong laundry or dish washing detergent may fade the colours over time.
For the DrawnBy: Case, you may wipe the internal compartments with a damp cloth. Please do not machine wash the case as it is lined with cardboard to keep it firm for the protection of its contents.
We have tried and tested many popular brands of washable markers on our mats, most whiteboard markers and water-based pens DO WORK. Some examples include the IKEA or CRAYOLA markers.
However, for best results and the most satisfying colouring experience, we recommend that you use our Drawnby: Markers with our DrawnBy: Washable Silicone Drawing and Colouring Mats as well as the DrawnBy: Washable Silicone Coaster Mats.
Our proprietary DrawnBy: Markers are developed specifically for use on silicone surfaces and are also gentle on the hands and easily washed off even when ink gets on the skin.
Certain brands may not provide the same result and other washable markers tend to be very wet causing the ink may bead up on the silicone surface. Some may also render your DrawnBy: Washable Silicone Drawing and Colouring Mats stained and discoloured.
Our DrawnBy: Washable Silicone products are all washable but are still table mats at heart and can function as a place mat for mealtimes! So do clean them often to keep it clean if you're going to use it around food! We recommend warm water with a little bit of detergent for hygiene purposes.
If you are using the mats solely for colouring, or while you are out, wet wipes are usually sufficient. You can fold them up and pack them in a bag to bring home for a proper wash!
Please try not to leave colours in overnight to the best of your ability as the colours may start to stick to the silicone, Red and Purple inks in particular tend to be more stubborn, so the soap helps to get them all washed out! :)
For colours that don't seem to wash out with soap and water, you may use Isopropyl or Rubbing Alcohol (available at your local pharmacy) to give a deeper clean. Isopropyl or Rubbing Alcohol will not compromise the integrity of your mat but do remember to rinse after to get rid of any lingering alcohol!
It's easy to clean!
Even Kids can clean up by themselves!
Do keep the markers away from cloth and other porous materials as it can be difficult to wash out the ink from such items.
Because of the nature of the material, it's good to give the mats a good clean every once in a while under the tap and with a little bit of soap or detergent! After a good wash, just wipe or drip dry and they are ready to go again!
Frequent use will also help the mats to retain their integrity because the DrawnBy: Washable Silicone Drawing and Colouring Mats just love to be used! It's a good problem though! Let your creative colouring juices flow!
Your DrawnBy: Washable Silicone Drawing and Colouring Mats will be packed in a clear drawstring pouch and packed in a polymailer bag before mailing. The DrawnBy: Washable Silicone Drawing and Colouring Mats and DrawnBy: markers are hardy and will reach you safely through our local postal service, although delivery-wise we always recommend something with tracking for safety's sake.
Other miscellaneous items will be packed carefully into appropriately-sized mailing bags for mailing as well.
For larger orders (6 sets of DrawnBy: Washable Silicone Drawing and Colouring Mats and above), we will pack your items in a carton box for delivery. In the interest of being environmentally friendly, we will save on packing material and flat pack the items where applicable (loosely as DrawnBy: Mats, Drawstring Bags and DrawnBy: Markers, as opposed to packing the set in the Drawstring Bags). We will include a sample of what the final sample pack looks like so you know how it should look like when packaged properly.
Please do inform us if the mailing bag or box has been tampered or damaged upon receipt.

Upon receipt of your order and confirmation of payment, we endeavour to send all orders out by the next working day. All of our mailing options have a tracking number which will be provided to you when your delivery has been confirmed.
Using Normal or Registered post, you should receive your items within 3-5 working days.
Using Courier service, you should receive your items within 2-4 working days.
Do be more patient over holiday periods as the local postal service can be overwhelmed with the big influx of mail traffic.
